Each Sunday at 11 am after the service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for light refreshments giving us time to visit with friends and make new ones! We also celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, and everything else we can think you! Having something special? Join us! See all the celebrations below!

Dinner Group

The dinner group meets each Wednesday at 5:00 pm at a different local restaurant in Anacortes. Great food and welcoming fellowship is shared by all. The restaurants cycle each month of the year. Here are the upcoming restaurants for the month of July. Join us!

August 12: Naung Mai "Thai Kitchen", 2216 Commercial Ave
August 19: Dad's Diner, 906 Commercial Ave

Friday Ladies Lunch in the Labyrinth

During the warmer months, all members (even men can come!) of the congregation and community are invited to bring a sack lunch and meet at 11:30 am at the south end of the church campus in the beautiful Labyrinth.

This is an informal gathering where we all visit and get to know each other better. It’s a lovely way to meet new people, pass along information about events in the community, and enjoy lots of laughter while sharing individual stories. Come regularly or sporadically as your schedule allows. We hope to see you there whenever you can drop in!

Tuesday Men’s Breakfast at the Island Cafe

Each Tuesday morning, all male-identifying members of the congregation and community are invited to have breakfast together at 8:00 am at the Island Cafe, located at 701 Commercial Ave. Come share in some delicious food and great conversation as we grow in our fellowship and connection with one another!

Craft Saturdays

Join in on Craft Saturdays every 2nd Saturday of the month and craft in good company! There will be plenty of room for everyone to use a table for their crafts in the Fellowship Hall. Work on your craft project while we visit with each other and glean tips and lots of helpful hints along the way. We get to appreciate everyone's talents as we watch scarves, quilts, and scrapbooks all make progress. We also do many projects a year as outreach to others.

The doors will be open at 10:00 am on Saturday and we hope to see you there. Coffee and espresso will be on! Bring your lunch so you can work on your projects all day long. For information, contact the Office at 360-293-0604/

We keep counting - and capturing - our blessings. Several birthdays but these three celebrated with us! A 40-year and 45-year anniversary (but they must have been married at 10). A graduation (actually two). So thankful for all who are part of our church family.

So many things to celebrate in May! A baptism, 2 joining the church, a 37-year anniversary, and 3 birthdays (one traveling). It is never boring being a part of the UMCA’s family! And besides, there is always cake!
